See what our builders made in one weekend.
Young Builders Weekend brings young business builders, ages 9 to 16, together at the Haworth Hotel in Holland for three days of hands-on building, October 9–11. Each builder starts a small business of their own. They pick an idea and build it with AI tools and help from Anchor mentors.
Demo Day is where they show their families and our community what they made.
What to expect
- Doors open at 4:00. Come a little early to find a seat.
- Pitches at 4:30, as our builders share their businesses with the room
- A table walk-around at 5:00. Stop by each table, see what they built, and ask how the weekend went.
- Awards at 5:45, with $1,000 in prizes
Prizes
- First place: $500 and a private working session with an Anchor mentor
- Second and third place: $250 each
Everyone is welcome, including grandparents, neighbors, teachers, local business owners and friends. A kind question or a word of encouragement means a lot to a young business builder, and they’ll be glad to see you there.
