Jenn Martin, Canadian Forces

Lt(N) Martin is a dynamic and celebrated Maritime Surface Officer in the Canadian Forces. Lt(N) Martin has received a Army Commendation medal from the United States Army for her tireless work in Afghanistan and willingness to take risks. In addition, she earned several coins of achievement for her work with the Border Police and school supply efforts. She was also recognized in Canada and presented with the Chief of Defence Staff coin for her work in Afghanistan.

Maja Djikic, Ph. D. is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Self-Development Laboratory at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. She is a psychologist specializing in the field of personality development. Her work examines the means of developing a congruent and flexible self. She has been a post-doctoral fellow with Desautels Centre for Integrative Thinking at Rotman School of Management, and Psychology Department at Harvard University. She has published more than 25 articles and book chapters in the area of personality development in journals such as Psychological Science, Journal of Research in Personality, Creativity Research Journal, New Ideas in Psychology, etc. Her research has been featured in New York Times, Salon, Slate, The Scientific American Mind, and many other media outlets.
