Universal Design Workshop + Happy Hour

Community Vision is a nonprofit founded in 1989 that provides services, education, and advocacy to ensure that people with disabilities direct their own lives. Envisioning a world where people of all abilities are accepted and included, Community Vision also provides Universal Design consulting to help firms like Bora elevate their inclusivity efforts on affordable housing projects.

Join other emerging architecture and interiors professionals over appetizers and drinks to learn about Universal Design and how we can be activists and advocates as designers. Topics will include resilient design, stakeholder engagement, and furniture selection. In addition, attendees will receive a copy of the Universal Design Guidebook, a practical design resource created by Community Vision and Bora.
