Adrian McLemore brings his lived experience as a foster child and kinship caregiver to life through music and storytelling. Engaging and research-based, sessions will help professionals, foster + adoptive parents, and kinship caregivers better understand trauma, development, and healing-centered care. Leave inspired and confident with new tools to support positive outcomes for youth.
Registration opens at 9am. The event begins at 9:30am.

About Adrian
Adrian McLemore is a nationally recognized consultant, strategist, and keynote speaker with over 20 years of experience advancing equity, youth voice, and child welfare system transformation. A former foster youth turned public policy expert, Adrian combines lived experience with policy fluency and real-world impact to help organizations rethink how they engage, support, and partner with youth—especially teens. He currently serves as a program off icer at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, leading mentoring and summer enrichment investments for older youth in Baltimore. As a senior consultant to states, counties, and national nonprofits, Adrian designs strategic frameworks that reduce reliance on congregate care, increase family-based placements, and improve permanency outcomes for older youth.
