The Freedom Series

With John C. Kennedy, Greg Williams, and Dan Bowen

The Freedom Series welcomes Nick Solheim, CEO of American Moment, for an intimate, off-the-record briefing in the days following the election. American Moment exists to identify, train, and place a new generation of principled young leaders in public service, and its results speak for themselves: the organization helped staff roughly one-third of key political appointments across the executive departments. Nick will discuss why that mission matters no matter who wins at the ballot box. Elections decide who holds office, but the people who staff government decide whether ideas become policy and whether an administration can actually govern.

Looking ahead, Nick will share a candid view from the perspective of the young leaders now stepping into positions of responsibility. He will address what the election results mean for the American Right, where the movement’s energy and talent are coming from, and what kind of leadership the next decade will require. The conversation will close with a discussion of how civic-minded leaders, including those of us here in West Michigan, can strengthen the pipeline of capable, principled people ready to serve.

The Freedom Series is a Grand Rapids speaker series advancing American Principles.
