<p>Dr. Daniel Dreisbach</p>

    Dr. Daniel Dreisbach

    Professor Dreisbach teaches in the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C. His research interests include constitutional law and the intersection of politics, law, and religion in American public life. Dreisbach received a D.Phil. from Oxford University, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. Following law school, he served as a judicial clerk for Circuit Judge Robert F. Chapman of the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and for two years he practiced public interest law specializing in civil and religious liberties.

  • <p>Dr. Glenn Johnston</p>

    Dr. Glenn Johnston

    Dr. Johnston holds a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas. He was a professor and history chair at Stevenson University. He also served as the University Archivist and was chosen as the archivist for the extensive archives of the Maryland Bible Society. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies from St Lawrence University and served in the United States army as a combat arms officer in the US Army before he transferred to Military Intelligence. He is married to Mary Jane, his wife of 41 years. Their two sons have married and live locally.

    Dr. John Plake

    Dr. John Plake is a researcher with a pastor’s heart. He bridges the worlds of social science, business intelligence, and spiritual formation, helping Christian leaders understand how people grow in Christ. Dr. Plake serves as Chief Program Officer at American Bible Society and is the editor-in-chief of the State of the Bible series. Over 34 years of full-time ministry, John has served as a pastor, missionary, professor, and researcher. He is an ordained minister with a Ph.D. in intercultural studies. He lives with his family in Wilmington, Delaware.

  • <p>Pastor Dave Moyer</p>

    Pastor Dave Moyer

    Pastor Dave is the lead pastor of Perry Hall Baptist Church, where he serves with passion for teaching and discipleship ministries. He is also the Executive Director of the Maryland Bible Society, heading its extensive distribution and engagement ministry of God’s Word. He also serves as President of Beachmont Christian Ministries.

    Thomas J. Schetelich

    Mr. Schetelich is President of the Maryland Bible Society. He is a founding principal of the law firm of Ferguson, Schetelich & Ballew, where he heads both the firm’s Business Law and its Church/Non-Profit Practice Groups. He is the co-author of Maryland Law of Religious Corporations, the leading text on Maryland Church law.
