Join us for a special Speaker Series event featuring Chris Heeter, award-winning keynote speaker, wilderness guide, poet, and founder of The Wild Institute. Drawing on decades leading teams (both canine and human) through wilderness expeditions, Chris weaves storytelling and hard-won lessons from the trail into practical insights on leadership, teamwork, and authentic connection.
In keeping with the spirit of the wild places that inspire this work, the event will be run sustainably, from eco-conscious catering to minimal-waste materials.

Featured on National Geographic Today and recognized with national speaking awards, Chris also shares a team of 26 Alaskan Huskies with her mushing partner. With stories from 30+ years of wilderness leadership experience and 20+ years of speaking all across North America, the abundant parallels between these adventures and the world of work make up the core of her presentations. Chris brings Wild to the workplace to help free us from the trappings of ‘how we’ve always done it, and to support organizations, leaders, and teams in pulling to their potential.
