The film follows breast cancer thrivers who choose aesthetic flat closure — a smooth chest after mastectomy — as their reconstructive path. Following the screening, a panel discussion and Q&A will feature film co-directors Samantha Sanders and Paula Froehle — who is also a cancer thriver — alongside RUSH MD Anderson Cancer Center leaders and clinical experts Amina Ahmed, MD; Lauren Rynar, PhD; and Deana Shenaq, MD. A reception will follow the program.
