This best practice exchange highlights how Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall (MSLC), a Hudson Valley community hospital system and member of the Montefiore Health System, invested in developing its leadership team during a period of significant organizational change. It is a compelling story of how an organization with very few discretionary funds used a variety of elements to impact leaders and drive substantial change.
Drawing on the resources available through its Montefiore Health System affiliation, MSLC combined targeted leadership training, Skillsoft coaching and learning resources, and the TalentX7 assessment to build well-prepared, resilient leaders. Attendees will learn how the organization sequenced these tools together, the outcomes achieved, and practical takeaways for developing leadership capability during periods of transition.
