Matt brings a rare blend of military leadership, strategic influence, and human impact.

A former U.S. Army Colonel with more than 25 years of service, he has led high-stakes information and influence operations around the world—including a mission in Afghanistan that resulted in a senior Taliban commander surrendering without a single shot fired. He has also served at the highest levels of government as a Presidential Correspondence Writer for George W. Bush and as a speechwriter for commanding generals during the Iraq War.

Today, he is an Assistant Professor at the elite School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) and is completing a PhD focused on leadership and organizational development. Beyond strategy and policy, his work reflects deep personal meaning—most notably reuniting a fallen WWII soldier’s Purple Heart with the soldier’s family more than 70 years later.
