Why The Get Down?
The Get Down is a musical drama series on Netflix. It follows a young man's pursuit to follow his dreams in life, love and music. The series refers to parts of hip-hop, disco, and R&B records spun on multiple turntables. The music inspired listeners to let go, dance, and be free.
The Get Down is a story of hope, love, creativity, perseverance and victory--all qualities Larry and Candice embrace for their present and future with #ABrownBabyBoy.
Additionally, during their first ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy, Greyson was moving so much, the doctor said that he looked like he was dancing! Even though he was just the size of a jelly bean he was "gettin' down!"
