This reception celebrates the life of the Civil Rights Icon and allows us an opportunity to reconnect with our Stetson University community. We will be celebrating Dr. King's legacy with a keynote, panel discussion, spoken word poem, and networking lunch.

Dr. King envisioned a community in which all people can share in the wealth of the earth. In the Beloved Community, racism and all forms of discrimination, bigotry and prejudice will be replaced by an all-inclusive spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood. Love and trust will triumph over fear and hatred and peace and justice will prevail.
