    A seasoned litigator with over 18 years of experience, Demetrius represents employers in the defense of employment-based claims asserted under both Kentucky and federal law including, but not limited to, claims asserted under the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title VII, and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act. His experience includes defending civil actions filed in both state and federal court, as well as defending against administrative actions before state and federal administrative agencies. He is also an affiliated member of the Business Litigation and the Torts & Insurance Service Groups having successfully defended civil suits involving personal injury, defense of product liability claims, breach of contract and common law tort claims. In addition to his litigation practice, Demetrius assist clients with drafting and implementing employee handbooks and other workplace policies, and also conducts on-site training on the issues of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

    With nearly 20 years of experience in recruiting and talent management, Courtney Holloway serves as the Manager of Attorney Recruiting, Retention and Diversity at MGC, a regional insurance defense firm. Courtney has played a strategic role in building the firm’s diversity and inclusion programs, Belong @ MGC and WIN @ MGC. Courtney joined MGC in 2012 as an office manager for the firm’s Greenville location, after spending more than 10 years in the retail management and recruiting sectors. In 2017, she transitioned to the role where she now focuses on keeping diversity and inclusion at the forefront of firm initiatives, processes and procedures. In doing so, MGC promotes an environment that fosters inclusiveness and increases retention. At MGC, we embrace diversity and inclusion, recognizing that we are a better organization with people from different races, religions, backgrounds and walks of life. We bring these qualities to our relationships with clients and to the communities where we live and work.
