Meet visual artist Christopher Williams and view Sentinels--seven Afro-futuristic paintings featuring multiple dimensions of Black Joy across the African diaspora. Christopher’s pieces move from realism to partial realism and abstraction. His art transports the viewer through different realms of emotion, grounding Black Joy in its historical context of struggle and oppression while striving to be respected and fully seen.
Beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
