The Freedom Book
At this invitation-only event, you'll learn from professor and author Dr. Joseph Loconte on how the Bible's theme of freedom has captured America's moral imagination from its founding era to today. Using visionaries like Harriet Beecher Stowe and Abraham Lincoln as examples, Loconte will challenge you to consider how this "Freedom Book" has been key to defining our ideas and institutions.
You'll also hear from strategists at American Bible Society on how they're working with an unprecedented coalition of partners to ensure this "Freedom Book" continues to influence American culture. You'll get a curated taste of Scripture engagement initiatives happening in Charlotte and beyond that, over the next decade will establish the Bible as a guiding beacon for millions of Americans.
