We first met at the computer lab at Pitt University. He was shy and smart, with a deep knowledge of computers, while I was friendly and outgoing, quick to say hello and know everyone. Our first date was at school when we went to see the movie "Arachnophobia," a film about spiders that we were both afraid of—Fred more so than me!
As we progressed through college, our relationship grew stronger, and we fell in love. After graduation, Fred asked me to move to Binghamton, New York, where we lived together for about six months. However, I later returned to Philadelphia for about two months. In February 1995, Fred proposed to me. We had about a year and a half to prepare for our wedding in June 1997.
We have experienced good times, bad times, and everything in between, but through it all, we have remained best friends and are still in love. We invite all our family and friends to help us celebrate "30 years of love" and to enjoy our time together, creating meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.
